Following a review of our prices at the beginning of the financial year we decided to reduce the price for combined OEUK & FTT (Fitness to undertake in water PSTASS training) assessments but, to minimise our costs, to always offer them together. The business logic was to reduce the extra effort involved in clients returning for a FTT after having been certified for work offshore when we have seen them recently for OEUK assessment.
OEUK has itself proposed (though not yet ratified) combining both certificates though it acknowledges that BOSIET is carried out on a 4 yearly cycle.
Most of our clients travel over water by helicopter and so it seems reasonable to assess and inform them of the risk of using escape equipment more frequenly than the BOSIET cycle and to inform them of that risk.
Accordingly we do not offer stand alone OEUK assessment but clients may note that our price for combined assessment compares favourably with stand alone OEUK assessment provided by competitors.
OGUK/OEUK medicals can be completed remotely in line with the latest OEUK standards.
