In the absence of a central register of OGUK certification (OEUK represents its members who apparently see no advantage to them) we have developed a system that complies with GDPR and offers the client the opportunity to send a valid copy of the certificate from our database to employers and agencies.
The candidate can sign in to their portal at www.offshore-medicals.co.uk, using the ‘forgotten password’ facility as necessary. They can then insert the employer email address which will generate a valid copy for the employer (In most cases the certificate will be entitled 'fit for work'). Since the email is sent direct to the employer from our website it can be considered to be valid
There is no cost for this service to the employer or the client.
Sorry, but we do not offer ENG1 Medicals.
To avoid double booking, the system reserves a slot for two hours from first click. Booking is not made until payment is made when a confirmation will be sent by us and a receipt from PayPal.
We only open bookings about a week in advance so that we can be sure a doctor will be available. Please check the system a week or two before your required date.
We only use our web based system to avoid double booking and to keep our prices competitive.
The system goes through the following stages:
PayPal is the bank that takes card payments. Credit cards are used as normal.
Some banks require authorisation of payment. Where the same device is used for both, one or the other will drop out. Either use different devices, a different card or PayPal.
Receipts are sent instantly by email from PayPal (our bank). There is no VAT on health services. Please check your spam email folder. Alternatively you can sign in and download a pdf receipt.
Sometimes doctors run late. Please be patient for up to 10 minutes before getting in touch.
